Quick Fortunes

The Pit and the Well of Wonders.

Etain the Quick returns to the hiding spot the group had found stating he had sold off the golden apples and purchased a local building to serve as a base of operations, reasoning if they lived through their last little adventure they should stick together for luck.
He also announces he has a new mission for them, a “friend” of his, Burskin of the Well of Wonders has (reluctantly) hired QF to recover a fiendish lamp that was stolen from his store recently. The group interviews Burskin and discover the most likely culprits to be the Revolutionary League, a group of anarchists and one of the major guilds of Sigil. Burskin sends them off to the local tavern for devils, demons and anything from the lower realms to recover his lantern, sending his hired man Glad, to aid and ensure the item does not end in Etain’s coffers.
Upon arriving to the Pit, Brackas is approached by Lilly, a strange drow woman who is enchantingly beautiful, enchantingly being the keyword as when she discovers what the group is looking for she tricks Brackas into starting a bar room brawl. During the confusion Etain and Screena sneak into the back room and discover a succubus has the lantern. A battle ensues and the lantern is recovered, the Pit is burned down partly thanks to this fight, partly to the nature of the bar patrons and their brawl.
When QF returns to Burskin it is revealed Glad has been purchased by Etain, much to his displeasure, and during the conversation Etain manages to “disappear” with the lantern.
Burskin stream of curses speaks much of where their relationship is at, with the mention of Etain’s tab being the only thing that brings a smile to his face.

Welcome to Sigil, Berk.

Screena and Brackas find themselves in Sigil, City of Doors. Here they meet Etain the Quick , who graciously shows them around and gives them their first job (and for just a few pieces of gold too).
The three adventurers are to procure and deliver some golden apples. Etain knows where some can be found and leads them all into Nowhere, a great expanse of nothing in, out and around Sigil.
They find a tree that grows the golden apples they are searching for and meet Anet Pelagia. After freeing her from a giant she agrees to go with them and they manage to escape Nowhere, ending up in a basement of sorts.
Discovering this has been a trap by Guy Sulargo, head judge of the Fraternity of Order who wants nothing more then to see Etain hang, the four adventures fight their way past thugs and Guy himself with some aid from the shardminded wizard, Ixiltlixi.
Turns out Ixil and Etain have a past of working together and Ixil remains with the group as they hide out in the slummier parts of Sigil.
